John and Isabel have been involved with the safari business for the past ten years. Isabel is the manageress and caterer for the Manzikhanya Lodge and makes her priority the well-being and comfort of all our clients. She, with her dedicated, friendly staff, serves a wonderful blend of European and African style cuisine that she prepares personally. She takes great pride in the smooth running of the lodge and enjoys creating an environment of friendly relaxation. John is a fifth generation South African. His early years were spent hunting on the family's cattle ranch in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. After his schooling he did a two year stint in the military and then travelled extensively before returning to the family farming enterprise.  Hunting being his first love, professional hunting became his priority. He has successfully guided clients all over South Africa on plains game, dangerous game and bow safaris . He is dedicated and passionate about his profession.
